San Francisco's Pacific Heights vs Sunset District Presh Talwalkar / 11:24 PM, Friday, January 29, 2010 / / Report this / Vote this up / 0

I was sparked by Phil's insight about how spending in New York was very different in the neighboring areas Harlem and the Upper West Side. Can you tell which is which just by look at his insight data http://bit.ly/b2F98L?

Like New York, San Francisco spending can vary tremendously by neighborhoods. I compared the neighborhoods Pacific Heights and Sunset District by their zip code which differ in only one digit. Can you tell which is which?

I have fond memories of living in Pacific Heights with its boutique furniture stores, the nearby tacqueria, and the local bakery. It was particularly nice because just a little bit west was where all the fog spread heavily seemingly year-round, in the ironically named Sunset District.
