Car leases now cheaper Getting Around Angela Zhang / 10:11 PM, Tuesday, February 16, 2010 / / Report this / Vote this up / 0

Car leasing almost disappeared in the aftermath of the credit crisis, but leases are now coming back. Dealerships are holding promotions and deals to attract new customers - those with good credit will be the biggest beneficiaries. For $199 a month, you can get a base-trim 2010 Honda Accord LX for 3 years.
The car isn't flashy, but it does come with automatic transmission, CD player, air-conditioning, cruise control, remote locking, power windows and power mirrors. My 1996 Honda is definitely missing a few of these amenities...
Most personal finance books say that leasing isn't a smart financial decision, but $199 is much lower than what you can get on a car payment. Of course, with leasing you never actually own the car. Do you lease?
