Apple, I get it. The iPad is coming. I'm still not buying one. Electronics Michael Dang / 08:19 PM, Friday, March 12, 2010 / / Report this / Vote this up / 0

So earlier today, I got an e-mail from Apple. "iPad is coming. April 3. Pre-order or reserve yours today."

If I had money to throw around willy-nilly, then sure, here's my credit card, save me one of those suckers. But I don't even have a fancy Information Phone, just the free flip that came with my plan, and I still go to the library and read real books with coffee stains in them.

Mashable's with me. A majority of voters in an informal poll said, "Nah, I'll wait for the second generation." I'm with you, folks.

Is anyone really reserving this fancy electronic weeks in advance? And will you drop the big bucks for the super fancy one with 3G? Here are some tips from the Bits blog on how to choose the right iPad.
