My Confession: I lent $400 to someone I know is an idiot

I lent $400 to a friend from my personal bank account without asking or telling my husband. It has been over three months, and I have not been paid back. The lendee has been playing golf and taking girls on dates and going to the movies on my dime! When I ask him about it, he brushes me off or gets mad. He even said, "When I pay this back, I don't think we should talk anymore." I should have known. He has always had financial problems. Obviously, he's still having them. Moral of the story: Don't lend money to someone who has ever filed bankruptcy, because obviously they are fiscally irresponsible. I wish I could tell my husband, who would go scare the cash out of him. But it's my mistake, I'll have to take care of it myself. Believe me, I will!
