From BundleHQ: When is the last time you used an actual paper coupon?

Sure, it's only one way to measure, but you look at a stock market chart - what, you don't? - and it's hard to believe we're not through the worst of it.

Be it ever so humble: It's about to be hurricane season down in them there Gulf states, so, hey, no time like the present to take that home inventory! So says Kate, who's going to follow the step-by-step instructions laid out by Other Kate in last week's Do One Thing. Presh, too, said taking a home inventory is on his to-do list. Let us know if it's as easy as it sounds.

The hourly rate of fun: In Mike's recap of the very expensive Clinton nuptials, he quoted a wedding expert who suggested that more frugal brides consider the cost of their event on an hourly basis - so, for example, if Chelsea Clinton's $2 million wedding lasted six hours, that'd be $333,333 per hour. In fact, suggests Presh, more of our entertainment costs should be considered this way. Dinner parties, possibly, in particular. But I wouldn't extend it to movies, though, because that would make the 124-minute The Twilight Saga: Eclipse a better buy than the 103-minute Toy Story 3, and I don't know anyone who thinks that's true.

Why cheaper rent isn't always cheaper: Are we restless? There's been lots of talk about moving on Bundle lately, but yesterday Emma pointed out that moving itself is so expensive, it might not be worth it - even if you're moving to a place with comparable or cheaper rent. The solution? Angela suggests enlisting some strong friends to help with the hauling, in exchange for ample quantities of pizza and beer. Why is this the universal currency of moving bribery? I have no idea, but it is. Sadly, it is not also the universal currency of first, last, and security.

Question of the day: When is the last time you used an actual paper coupon? Comment, or tweet, #clipnsave.
