From BundleHQ: What's your best cheap dinner? (No, Mark, popcorn is not a meal)

Every morning, Jaidev (above) comes into the office and yells "Good morning!" He's like Adrian Cronauer in that way.

Potstickers for breakfast or, how to feed your sushi jones without busting your budget: Bethany dropped by from Budget Bytes this weekend with recipes for a full sushi dinner for $15 per person, no tax, no tip, no $3 Coke. And there's more where that came from: Cincinnati chili ($1.33 per bowl), shrimp tacos ($1.49 per taco), homemade pretzels ($0.16 per 'zel). Feed your friends, save your wallet, thank Bethany.

Ninety cents for coffee, $0.44 for a stamp . JD Roth, the Get Rich Slowly guy and also a pioneer in the track-and-share school of better spending habits, stopped keeping track recently, prompting Justin to wonder about the usefulness of a meticulous budget. Mark has already said he's skeptical. Does keeping track help?

I'll have a Super Size McSpliff: Would you buy pot from McDonald's? What if you could get it at Target and pay with your Target credit card?

A brazen admission of the profit motive: Speaking of Target, Brandie said the company's spokesman's statement that "the whole purpose is to drive retail sales" made her feel used. I don't blame her. Yes, companies need to make money, but how about doing that by giving customers something they want (you know, like good design for cheap, which Target is great at)? Instead, Target admits it's just rolling out the card to get people to spend more money. It's hard to feel good about patronizing a company that makes decisions that way.

Question of the day: OH at HQ: "I could just get through the night with a salt lick." Dear lord, Bundlers, I hope you can do better than that. What's your best cheap meal? Comment or tweet it up, #cheapmeal
