From BundleHQ: What do you do with your change?

Lucky for y'all, I can't enter the lunch contest. Because my veggie sushi was really, really good yesterday.

Downturn? I slept through it: Now that the recession is over(ish), will you keep your newfound frugality, or will you return to your spendthrift ways? Mike reported yesterday that consumers may have thrown in the savings towel, which prompted Abby to throw up her hands. "Most people aren't even capable of staying frugal throughout the recession — when they actually need to," she wrote. Can't you just hear the tone?

'Tis better to give: It's not even year-end, tax-deduction-inspired giving time, and yet we're thinking about charity. That is so big-hearted. Mariya wants to know why there's so much giving going on in DC and Austin, especially compared to Salt Lake City, Boise and Boston. And Presh says an unanticipated $17,000 donation has inspired him to think bigger.

Eat it, vegetarians: I eat meat. Happily. So with relish - and with relish! - I'm enjoying Greg's ongoing "all flesh, all the time" guide to community farms and local meat. This week: For $360, a North Carolina fishery will feed a family or two every week for the summer season. That's $36 a week, for 4 to 8 pounds of fish. Average it out and say $6 per pound? You can't get that in the supermarket. Pair it with your $28 per week pork delivery, and that's good eatin'.

Question of the day: Mark cashed in 37 pounds of quarters this weekend for a $190 windfall. He says he kept it in Tupperware. I don't think they make Tupperware that big. Where do you keep your change?
