From BundleHQ: Site changes, weddings, and what's for breakfast
Mmm. Kettle corn. More on that in a minute.
First: There are some changes to the site today, little tweaks we think might make a big difference. For starters, we've added photos to the editorial stories in the Latest Discoveries feed. Because who doesn't love photos? Also, we want to make it easier to highlight Bundle favorites like the Awkward Dollar, Other People's Money, and This Week in Your Wallet — and to let users know that there's a robust discussion happening, too. Another change you might notice: After a few visits to the site, you'll start to see a different version of the homepage, one that also highlights some of our favorite articles and user contributions. I know, no one likes change. But once you get over that, what do you think? Email me your feedback, or post in the comments.
Here comes the bride and her very expensive destination wedding: There's still snow on the ground, but apparently wedding season is upon us already. And it turns out women aren't the only ones shelling out for their BFF's nuptials. Mike and Jeremy are swapping tux-buying tips, and Presh is using Bundle data to plan his wedding-related travel. Mazel tov, newlyweds — and if you haven't had "The Talk" yet, Kate has some suggestions.
OK, fine. Maybe that kettle corn is breakfast.
Confession is good for the soul: If you've been carrying around a money-related secret, or grudge, write it down and send it to our weekly anonymous confessions. Email confessions@bundle.com. We'll never ever tell. But if you're truly sheepish/paranoid, submit via our Tumblr. Go on. You'll feel better.
Coming up today:The Awkward Dollar, on poker-winning, drink-buying etiquette. Cheers!
