From Bundle HQ: How much did you spend this weekend?

Oh, hey, Internet. I've been thinking about you this morning. I have this feeling that you're feeling bummed to be back to the grind after three days of freedom. Are you? Please don't be. Look, I made you a list:

Reasons you should be happy today:
1. It's not Monday!
2. It's a four-day week!
3. No one threw acid in your face!

I'm also hoping you're happy because you followed your guesstimated budget for the weekend. Me? I didn't set a strict one (for shame), and without a plan, I spent too much (it's okay: I'm still happy).

Weekend spending:
$25 for a birthday present
$50 to get my hair done
$40 on dinner out on Saturday
$10 on beer and a lottery ticket (I didn't win)
$20 on groceries

I need to work on my budget, obviously.

Other Bundlers did better. Greg Spielberg's weekend expenditures totaled $88.50 on a round-trip train ticket to Long Island and entrance to Bradstock, a feel-good music festival. Emma Tobin spent the weekend working and didn't spend a thing. Bundle's Director of Content Mark Armstrong planned on taking advantage of money already spent, with a visit to the Central Park Zoo (where he has a pass), groceries from FreshDirect, and whatever's up on his Netflix queue. Jeremy Vohwinkle also hoped to spend little-to-no money this weekend (he and his wife are awaiting their second baby within the month). So, who has me beat? My money is on Kate Tormey, for whom the weekend marked the beginning of a week-long vacation in Hawaii.

This, all, of course, brings us to the Question of the Day: Last week you guessed how much the weekend would cost you. How much did you actuallyspend this weekend? Comment or tweet #laborbudget
