From BundleHQ: Jaidev and Phil rock NY Tech Meetup, Jeremy dishes on money and beer, and a question... What's in your wallet? Savings, good morning Janet Paskin (Bundle) / 02:43 PM, Wednesday, March 03, 2010 / / Vote this up / 0

jaidev presenting at the New York Tech Meeting

If we can make it here … Jaidev and Phil did us proud last night at the New York Tech Meetup. And now we're blushing: reviewers called us pretty. Oh, and useful and interesting and cool and "da bomb." Hey, we'll take it.

If it's March, I must be tipsy: Yep, that's Logan's "end of Sober February" post up there on the screen in front of New York's techiest. She quit drinking for the month (the shortest month -- not a coincidence) to try to save a little money. Yesterday, she reported back.

Greg 1, B of A 0: After a lot of quality time with a passel of customer service reps, Greg finally won his battle with Bank of America. But the whole process has inspired him to look for a better bank. Monica wrote about bank shopping a while back. Does anyone else have advice for G. Spielberg?

Smart about money and pulled pork: Yes, Jeremy Vohwinkle is one of Bundle's crackerjack community editors. He's also the mastermind behind GenXFinance.com, a geeky-smart personal finance blog, and he can teach you how to pull your own pork and brew your own beer. (Also in the brew-your-own beer cult? Moriah!)

Question of the day: How much cash are you carrying? Right now. In your wallet or purse or wadded up in your back pocket. And is that about average? A pleasant surprise? Or do you swear you had a $20 in there somewhere … Tally up and tell us in the comments.

In your Bundle future: Jill battles parking tickets, Melinda finds a couch, and we get ready for disaster. Happy Wednesday!
