2. Don't order online

Online flower services like FTD or 1-800-Flowers are easy to use, but you'll pay extra for the convenience. The prices of flowers are inflated because they simply pass on the order to a local florist and add their margin. Call or visit your local florist, because not only will you get a better deal, you'll be supporting a small business in your community.
